Meet the Director

Pastor Cory Kilgus

Director

Pastor Cory Kilgus and his wife Danielle have been serving on the mission field for 6 years. They have two children, Abigail and Noah, who were both born in Peru. Cory was ordained as a pastor at Calvary Chapel Fort Bragg in 2015, and has served at Bible Colleges and in church plants throughout the world. He served at Calvary Chapel Bible College Peru and Calvary Chapel Bible College Israel in a variety of roles including being the director of each school.

In 2016, God lead him to start a new work in Trujillo, Peru. Cory, Danielle, and the team planted the church in 2017, and started the Bible Institute the following year. Both the church and school are growing and thriving. Pastor Cory has a heart to make disciples of all nations, to raise up the next generation, and to see many healthy church plants throughout South America and the world.

Joaquin Ibañez

National Missionary

Joaquin was saved through in outreach of Calvary Chapel Huacho, Peru in 2010 and graduated from CCBC Peru in 2015. He then joined Cory in various mission trips around South America before being called to help start the church in Trujillo. He is now on staff at La Roca Trujillo and CBI Peru. He is incredibly talented with children and youth ministries, and has a heart to serve in anyway possible. He is the dorm house leader for the men.

Adjunct Pastor Teachers

Pastor Jerel Hagerman

President of CBI, Senior Pastor of CC Joshua Springs

Pastor Jerel Hagerman was saved in 1975 and attended Bible College at Sky Valley from 1977-1981. Jerel has been a pastor since 1981 and has served as the senior pastor at Joshua Springs Calvary Chapel for the past 28 years. He has a heart for the next generation and his goal in ministry has always been to raise them up not only in the Word, but also in practical application to prepare them for their own ministries. Over the past 20 years, Pastor Jerel has raised up many pastors who have gone on to plant churches around the world. He is a regular teacher at CBI Peru.


Pastor Kevin Green

Senior Pastor of Calvary Chapel Fort Bragg

Pastor Kevin Green and his wife Erin were saved on the same date in 1989 in Oceanside, CA. They were married shortly after, and attended Calvary Chapel Poway, CA where they were raised up in the music ministry. From 1993, they began ministering at different churches and conferences, leading worship, giving concerts and teaching the Word.

In August of 1997, Kevin met up with a small home fellowship during one of his Northern California tours. In July of  1998, Kevin and his family moved from Phelan, CA to Fort Bragg to pastor a small group of eight families. Pastor Kevin has been the pastor at CCFB ever since as well as being involved in missions and discipleship in South America for the last 20 years. He is a gifted teacher and counselor, and has a heart to pour into the next generation of pastors.


Pastor Drew Macintyre

President of The Word to the World, Pastor at Calvary Chapel Alpine

Pastor Drew Macintyre has been a pastor since 1982, and served as Senior Pastor of CC Alpine from 1982-2010. In 2010, he turned CC Alpine over to oldest son Mark and became his assistant. He has been married for 34 years, has 4 grown children, and 4 grand children.

In 1986, along with pastoring CC Alpine, he started the ministry TWTW (The Word to the World) which has a focus to train pastors and leaders in how to study the Word of God and then teach it expositionally. Has done extensive teaching/training in China, Japan, Cambodia, Vietnam, Philippines, Thailand, Burma, Australia, Israel, Jordan, Turkey, Iraq, Germany, Russia, Uganda, Mexico, Cuba, Nicaragua, Honduras, Belize, and Ecuador. He has led many mission teams into various countries conducting medical clinics, witness training, pastor/leader training, and counseling seminars.

He is a regular teacher at CBI Peru and our students will be joining him on his different mission trips around the world


Pastor Dan Gillman

Senior Pastor of Calvary Chapel Shreveport

Pastor Dan Gillman and his wife Lara were saved in Japan in 1992 while Dan was stationed there as a Marine. They have 6 children and 2 grandchildren. They returned to the states and got plugged into CC Rancho Santa Margarita until God called Dan to leave the Marines and move to Fort Bragg, CA in 1999.

Dan was ordained as a pastor at Calvary Chapel Fort Bragg in 2002, and served faithfully as the assistant pastor until God called him to be the senior pastor at Calvary Chapel Shreveport in LA in 2019. Dan has led and been on many mission trips in Africa and South America, and is especially gifted as a leader and as a father.


Pastor Carlos Casco

Pastor Carlos Casco and his wife Yolanda are originally from Ecuador. They moved to the USA in 1963. They have six children, nineteen grandchildren and three great grandchildren. They received the Lord in 1984.

In 1987 they moved to Southern Mexico as missionaries, where they started a Bible Seminar for pastors and a church plant ministry. In 1994 they moved back to the USA and started the Spanish ministry in Calvary of Albuquerque to disciple men and woman for ministry. Carlos initiated the simultaneous translation ministry for Spanish speaking people attending Calvary of Albuquerque. In 1998 they moved to Spain to plant a Calvary Chapel (Calvario de Jerez). Carlos was the Senior Pastor of Calvario De Jerez De La Frontera, Cadiz, Spain from 1999 to 2008. The church had a heart for North Africa, where pastor Carlos visited from 2002 to 2008 every two months doing humanitarian work. 
Presently pastor Carlos is the director for Intensive Care Ministries in South America. He is teaching and training pastors and leaders in South America through IBS (Inductive Bible Study) seminars.  

Pastor Carlos is a regular teacher at CBI Peru and will focus on teaching the Inductive Bible Study Method. Students will learn now to prepare and teach sermons and home Bible studies with Pastor Carlos.
